Chris Love Design is currently undertaking the design and documentation for the kitchen at 400 Gradi in Essendon. With existing outlets in Brunswick and the Crown Casino, the latest restaurant is expected to open in September and will comprise a traditional gelataria counter.

Popular Melbourne pizza brand, 400 Gradi is the brainchild of chef and V.P.N. Principal Johnny Di Francesco, who’s family hail from Naples in Southern coastal Italy – the home of ‘world’s best’ pizza. Johnny has a series of Pizza and Calzone outlets with the 400 Gradi Crown restaurant being the flagship of the group.

Pinnochio’s

Pinnochio’s Italian bistro and Pizzeria in Melbourne’s bayside suburb of Hampton was designed to cater to a busy and hectic family environment. The former bank building was totally gutted in preparation for the installation of a fully compliant kitchen, bar and associated stores and wash facilities. The feature wood fired revolving base pizza oven was a unique piece of equipment that enables maximum throughput with reduced labour costs, including the ability to produce the popular 1m long pizzas! The display coolroom showcases some of Italy’s finest ingredients. Can thoroughly recommend the slow braised lamb shoulder served with artichoke puree and basil pesto!!
